My students spend many hours a day on the screen learning the core subjects. I also lead them in art lessons to develop their creativity, help them relax and give them an art foundation. Many of my students only have paper and pencil at home and cannot add color to their work. Providing my students with watercolors, markers and colored pencils will allow them to deepen their knowledge of artistic concepts and enhance their creativity throughout distance learning as we recreate famous works of art aligned with standards and curriculum.
