Technology is a great way to engage students while also building developmental skills. For my 4yr old students, access to technology can help to build cognitive skills such as critical thinking, working memory, pattern recognition and more. The iPad that I am requesting for my students will give them opportunity to reinforce literacy and math skills. Students can use the iPad increase there skills of letter recognition, letter sounds, quantifying numbers, and shape identification. Students can also grow as star readers! Applications used to help students follow along with their favorite stories will not only reinforce their print concepts skill but also increase their enthusiasm of reading!
