Kindergarten lessons require lots of hands on activities. Many of my families are unable to provide these supplies for their students due to job loss and poverty. This will be the first school experience these children have and I want it to be positive and give them a love for learning. The expo markers along with paper inside of sheet protectors will help guide students in learning letter formations during our virtual lessons. Crayons and scissors will help them create fun projects at home while building their fine motor skills and creativity. Many of our math lessons require students to use counters. If all of my students are using the same type of counters it will make lessons online easier to understand as I guide them with the same ones. These supplies can also be brought with them if/when we all return to the building together. Covid 19 regulations will require them to have their own set of supplies and with your help they can already be prepared to transition from home to the classroom.
