Currently in my classroom, I have cushions and beanbags that provide comfort to the seats. Unfortunately these lack in the ability for students to redirect some of their energy and move. To help with that I allow students to stand up and walk around as needed but that can be distracting to others. My goal is to provide additional options that can help active students. Students need an environment that allows them so sort of movement. With flexible seating options that move, students are able to be in an environment where their needs are being met while still learning. Fidget bands provide this much-needed movement as well when added to the traditional desks and chairs in my classroom. These products will help my students by allowing more flexible seating arrangements that cater to their needs. These products also work with the existing desks and chairs to enhance them. They will help create an environment where my students will be more comfortable and make a difference in their learning.
