My kindergarten students can use these materials during our center activity time to practice their language arts and math skills. Once they have mastered their letter identification or first twenty sight words from our language arts program, they will be able to play the Lakeshore Alphabet Matching Maze or Fishing for Sight Words level one game in an independent center. The Math Rockets will help to build kindergarten number sense to 30 which is a common core state standard. It is goal for kindergartners to work independently and these materials will enable students to demonstrate that ability while practicing grade level standards.
