My students will greatly benefit from flexible seating by increasing their on task behaviors. My students like to wiggle, move, and bounce. Flexible seating will meet their needs and provide me with the ability to address their goals in an effective manner. Flexible seating and sensory exploration will help my students increase on task behaviors. My students are sensory oriented and need several sensory breaks throughout the day. Sensory processing is important for students with a disability. It is important as the teacher to be aware of my students’ sensory needs and be able to provide effective materials that will meet their needs.
