My students have never had a high school art program and I want to provide them with a positive and productive studio atmosphere. I have limited resources and want to help my students create in as many mediums possible. We currently have no printmaking supplies and no drying rack to store work such as prints, paintings or collage projects. I believe that an arts education should provide students with as many creative opportunities as possible. I find that the more experiences I can provide, the more students are engaged and find a medium, idea, or area of expertise that speaks to them and is something they can take away into their future. Art challenges us to think critically and creatively, communicate effectively with other humans, and understand different perspectives. With your donation, my students will have a solid foundation for their visual arts education and the ability to use their studio space effectively and efficiently.
