My current classroom carpet is very old and dingy. It is not inviting and exciting for little people. This new carpet will be great for shapes, colors, and a visual to know where to sit. Classroom management is a key component of kindergarten and a carpet like this will be essential to helping meet our classroom expectations. One of our math standards it to know 2-d and 3-d shapes. This will be helpful when seeing these shapes and hearing this math vocabulary each and every day. It is always fun to play games and exercise in kindergarten during our brain breaks.
