Over the past 5 years HBMS has championed environmental causes. Our school is Bronze Certified through Sustainable Jersey and our school goals have included a focus on improving the environment. We continually seek ways to promote healthy living and a harmonious balance between human interaction and the environment. We are looking to purchase a Hydroponics system for our science program so that all students can gain an appreciation of low-impact, high-harvest techniques. Through hands-on activities aligned with the Next Generation Science Standards our students will learn to investigate and solve a complex issue facing the world today.
