These materials are going to improve my math center. The students will be able to strengthen their math skills by using these fun child centered materials. I know that young learners love using materials that they can relate to. By using the counting cars we will talk about how many people can fit in their family cars that they use on a daily basis. The lady bug match set and the sequencing puzzles will help students to recognize numbers and what order they come in. These sets have insects and bugs that we can look for on the playground when going outside. These materials will help me to connect math concepts to events that happen in my students day to day lives. The social and emotional book set will help me to model skills that they will use in and out of the classroom setting. Students who have a strong connection with others and knows how to positively handle/express emotions tend to have a better school experience.
