In recent years, many library learning commons have been trading their traditional wooden chairs and tables for more functional and modular designs. Our library has not been updated with furniture since it was built in 1998, over twenty years ago. As a result, students who need to move while working on classwork are often left behind since our traditional library furniture does not permit "the wiggles." The library is supposed to be a place that meets the needs of all learners, not only for the traditional, sit still and be quiet types. These new stools are perfect for students who need to move to think.
