My goal is to be the classroom that every student looks forward to going into for their 72 minute block. The addition of these tables and chairs to my classroom will help students to find a comfortable place to sit and spread out their materials. In our current situation with broken and slanted desk tops, students do not have enough space to open their text books, have their binders, calculators, and notebooks out, and still have room to work without something falling off the edge of the desk. Additionally, having chairs with wheels would give the students just enough movement to promote mathematical discourse.

About my class
