Many of my students require extra supports to help them focus on their learning. They may need frequent opportunities to move around or a tool to squeeze while they sit at their seat. By incorporating flexible seating opportunities, I am helping my students take ownership of their learning and giving them choices in the classroom. I will keep the wobble cushions in a bin, and students will be able to choose to use one if they need it. They will also be able to select a fidget tool, such as a squeeze ball or Tangle Jr., if they need one. Both of these types of tools will help them increase focus on their learning.
