These games will greatly improve the number sense, mental math, & strategic thinking of my students as they play. So many of them to don't even know what a board game is these days, as they are engaging more & more in online gaming, which so often seems to isolate them from their peers. After a year of remote learning, my hope is they will improve their math skills, as well as their friendships. All of these games have been chosen with my students in mind. I asked them for their input for what kinds of games they would like to have in the classroom before starting this project. Students will be able to choose the game(s) they want to play, which will help them advance their math skills & friendships.
