In years past, I experimented with this dry-erase surface and it worked exceptionally. The students could work on I-Ready, IXL, or NWEA and simply show their work right on their desks. While it seems simple, this change really did spark their excitement. It also allowed me to quickly assist students as they worked. I could work through example problems right on a desk with a student individually. These whiteboards will also allow for so many other benefits. I have had students who wrote reminders for themselves. Others would create a checklist while writing or completing other tasks. Personally, I used them to write a quick note of encouragement or a reminder to students. These dry-erase surfaces will create a lot of excitement in the classroom and will afford students the opportunity to take ownership of their workspace in a new way. I am excited to see how my students will utilize them. Thank you for your time and consideration!
