Attendance at our virtual school is optional, but students are more successful when they are in the room with us. Our current classroom setup is NOT enticing at all. Hard desks, hard chairs, and a cold concrete floor will make it difficult to lure them away from their comfy homes to come get instruction/help. We would love to make it more warm and inviting with softer seating, coffee brewing, and a cozy area rug (at minimum). If successful, we will eventually convert the entire classroom to match this section of the room. Our district does not currently have any extra funding available for our program.
