These materials will help my students to have hands on learning. They will be able to use the objects to count during their math stations. The hands on materials will help them to better visualize when they are practicing addition and subtraction. During literacy stations, they can practice their letters and words with actual objects they can feel. Feeling those objects helps children to better remember what they're learning. I want my students to succeed in every area and I think having these hands on objects will help to achieve that goal. Children need materials they can manipulate with their hands to help them learn and for that learning to stick with them in their brains.
