I am requesting a document camera to help build annotation skills with my students. We have many difficult primary and secondary source texts to read this year, including the Federalist papers, Supreme Court decisions, Magna Carta, and many others. The document camera will allow me to model annotation skills and help build metacognition and analytical in my students. It will enable me to increase the academic rigor in my classroom and challenge students along the way. Building these skills will not only help them in class this year, but it will also help them analyze tough texts in college and beyond.

About my class
