My 150 students will be able to create designs they have engineered and see them come to life. I feel this printer will cultivate creativity in my students. They will be able to design, evaluate, apply, and make changes by following the scientific process. One of the many lessons I have in mind for the use of this printer is to design a boat that actually floats. The students will design a boat that will float while holding 50 pennies. After the students create a boat, they will have the opportunity to print it and try it out. Students will learn from other students design failures on what will make a successful float. There are many other things I can use the printer for that will spark students interests whether it be fashion design, tall structure buildings, or every day inventions.
