The Senior Video Editing class creates a school-wide weekly newscast to showcase student activities and promote school-wide positivity. The productions emphasize school projects and extracurricular activities of students of all ages. Student videos contribute to a positive environment by promoting positive interactions among students. The projects are upbeat, entertaining and engaging. Some past projects include anti-bullying videos and motivational clips, as well as showcasing art projects, band concerts, and sporting events. The students strive to represent the talents and abilities of a wide variety of students. The use of video production in the classroom promotes creative thinking and visual creativity. The microphone and tripod dolly will aid the students in creating higher quality videos and allow them to video in various settings.
