This is my third year as a speech-language pathologist (SLP) in an elementary school. I am lucky to work with a variety of ages (Pre-K through 5th grade). We focus on language (receptive, expressive, social), articulation, fluency and more. My goal is have these books to help my students' become strong and confident communicators who are able to share their thoughts, wishes, dreams and ideas with those around them (teachers, parents, siblings, friends). My therapy room library has lots of room to grow, as I am a relatively new SLP. Navigating my first few years (during a pandemic!) has been quite the adventure. These books will help me provide my students with rich language lessons. My students can use the mirrors to practice their speech sounds while making sure their tongue is in the right spot in their mouth. Any help would be greatly appreciated by my students and I.
