In a classroom, an environment is so important to consider. This gives them a place to learn and grow, and it shows them how we value their education. When they are in a classroom that facilitates their learning and really considers them as individual students, they see what value we put on education. I want to best encourage them in this way. They need a place that they can take pride in, and feel at home in so that they can actually learn. My students are diverse learners with many different needs for a classroom that suits them. Some students need a place to get comfortable, others may feel they do best standing, and others still do better changing up where they sit often. With a classroom that reflects the needs of the students, I can better serve my students needs, and they can be more successful in their education. I also consider that they will be taught in hands on and interactive ways which requires a completely different use of the space. They need room to complete big projects, partner up, or even to work individual space. In a traditional classroom, there are only desks in rows, but in a flexible classroom there is a whole assortment of different types of seats and desks. Help me give my students the power to feel important and give them a better place for success!
