These materials will be used to generate an entire curriculum for grades K-5. Each grade level will have their own stories, as to not repeat the same exact story year after year. I will be able to teach each student in our elementary school about the special cultures we have in our school to cultivate culturally responsive students. By using these texts, I hope to open up a world of possibilities and show students to places and people they may have never heard of. I want them to explore and question the world around them and take that information and use it for good!

About my class
