With the addition of these books and resources for my office I will be able to teach classroom and individual/group lessons about several different topics in a fun and exciting way. Everyone loves to have a book read to them and these are some must haves for an elementary counselor's office. I plan on teaching coping skills, career awareness, etc. This will broaden their horizon and will help prepare them for their awesome futures. I have also never had LEGOs in my office and kids love to be able to work on something while they process their emotions. These will also help when teaching about different careers and connecting their current interests to potential careers they may enjoy. It's never too early to get kids thinking about college and careers.
