Student choice is something that I plan on implementing in my classroom. Not every student learns the same way and that is perfectly okay! By allowing students to make their own decisions, they are being empowered and making meaningful choices that will aid in their learning. Providing students with flexible seating enables students to be comfortable and motivated throughout their learning experience each day. Not all students succeed sitting in a classroom chair and may benefit from a chair that wobbles or bounces to help keep them focused. I would like to afford each student the opportunity to select from various seating options that he/she will benefit from throughout the day. I want my students to reach their full potential, and providing them with flexible seating will help keep students engaged in my classroom.
