The rug is a special place in any kindergarten classroom. Students spend lots of time on the rug, be it reading, building amazing structures, dancing, stretching, playing or listening to a great story. They love spending time on the rug. Most of the fun and learning our students will experience this school year will be spent on our classroom rug. Students need a place to share as a group, to read a favorite book with a friend, to play, to yawn and sometimes to fall asleep while listening to their teacher. Our classroom rug will be used and enjoyed over and over again by our students and their teacher as well.

About my class
