The same way you wouldn't except a mechanic to fix a car without the proper tools, students shouldn't be expected to learn without the proper learning materials. Not only is teaching special ed students the curriculum important, but equally important is teaching them to be able to use the tools around them so they can be set up for success. These Special Ed students may already feel a little left out or left behind and the right materials would greatly help me to enhance these kids' learning experience and make them feel as important and as prepared as any other child.
