Everyday, students in my class have a morning meeting where they learn social-emotional skills to help them develop empathy and get along better with others. They have opening and calendar time activities and songs. Each day they have a whole-group lesson in Math, Reading, Writing, and Social Studies or Science. I would love to have a large carpet square in my room that kids could sit on for these types of activities. Right now, I have some little carpets of various shapes and sizes from home, and kids trip on the edges because it is not just one big carpet square. It is hard to clean the little carpets, and there are holes in the carpets because they were woven together. Please help us if you can! Thank you!
