Have you ever found yourself thinking about writing a book about something you have experienced? Well, so have many of my students. Unfortunately, some have not mastered phonemes; sight words, or how to construct a complete sentence. With proper instruction, writing activities and tools, all of my students will be able to enjoy writing and publishing their works. In order for my students to be able to successfully participate in Writer’s workshop, there are supplies needed to implement differentiation. My hope is to have a collage of writing activities in writer’s workshop for each student’s level. Support for my lower leveled students will be phonemic awareness activities, as well as building a sentence using magnets. My average to high students will use sentence building and punctuation connecting cubes to create complete sentences. The pencil sharpener, laminator and laminator sheets will assist with finalizing and publishing their amazing stories. With your help, my students will be able to achieve this goal.
