Flexible seating allows students to have more choice in their learning. Student choice helps promote independence and allows for students of varying abilities to learn together. During independent reading times they are encouraged to find and use the space in our room to get cozy and get lost in their books. A lot of students would benefit from these wiggle seats being available in my classroom. Let's face it, no one wants to sit on a hard desk chair all day. In an effort to make my room even more comfortable for learning these wiggle stools will help those students who like to move.
