Flexible seating gives students the opportunity to take charge of their learning. I would like to use flexible seating in order to help students who have a difficult time sitting still. I believe that students will be able to stay more focused if they are more comfortable. I have seen a difference in student behavior when they are given a choice in seating. They tend to be more engaged, and get more work done than when they are just sitting at their desk. I have an easier time focusing when I’m comfortable and I know my students would feel this way as well.
