As a project based learning school, we are dedicated to providing the most authentic learning experience possible. We do this through fostering both the voice and choice for the student in regards to how and what they are the learning, alongside building hands-on projects that are professional, have an authentic purpose and audience, and serve their community. My classroom is a diverse collection of students from all backgrounds. Students who choose FlexTech are looking for an educational experience that is engaging, skills focused, and resembles what work will look like for them when they are working adults. Students choose FlexTech because we provide flexible learning environments and options, allow them to examine and pursue their passions, and connect them to the real world. FlexTech graduates are passionate and curious, life-long learners, resilient and gritty, socially aware, and have 21st century skills.
