This classroom set of mice and partial set of headphones will allow my students to more effectively use our Chromebooks in a classroom setting. The mice will allow students more flexibility while working on graphic design projects, coding and other curricular areas. The headphones will allow those without to enjoy their projects while not disturbing others. Not all of my students are able to bring in their own headphones. Technology is important in my classroom and these basic materials will allow us to use it effectively. Specific skills I like to teach my students is how to code their own programs using scratch and manipulating their student created video using our district's WeVideo software. These mice and headphones will allow students to use these programs and others more skillfully and precisely so that they can obtain crucial future ready lifelong skills.
