Key to a diverse classroom is differentiation. Technology is a great tool to help us provide content to students at their individual level and interest. It is especially important in a multi-age, multi-level center-based classroom where teachers must work with rotating groups to meet student needs. These Chromebooks will allow my students to optimize their learning by giving them individualized practice and instruction. I hope to use Chromebooks as one of my centers during ELA and Math. Students will use programs such as NewsELA and KhanAcademy. The Chromebooks will allow us to do research for science and writing projects and will give us the opportunity to publish our narrative writing. Lastly, these Chromebooks will help students connect to the world around them as they learn about people from different walks of life and places around the globe. The Chromebooks will be shared by my class and 4 other classes in the school.
