My STEM position is new to the district and we have little resources. My students would benefit from these simple machine sets in many different ways. By having these simple machine sets in the classroom, my students will be able to explore the engineering process and have a better understanding of simple machines and their purpose. Students are noticeably engaged when participating in hands on learning and I would like to transition that into my classroom. These simple machine sets can contribute to the understanding of concepts and to the engagement of the students. I would love to be able to provide hands on engineering activities for my students and these simple machines will do that.

About my class
