My students live in a low income area. We are a super important group of pirates dedicated to learning and being involved in our regular school environment any way we can. Many of these Pirates have never owned, used, or even used an iPad in their lives. Some of these students have some very diverse needs including communication, learning, and behavior. We can use the iPads for teaching, sensory stimulation, and high interest math and spelling activities for kids who struggle to learn. My students who cannot communicate can still learn, they just need some very specialized equipment. I can teach all of them with your help. They are the cutest group and I can't wait to see them smile.
