The addition of a classroom set of ukuleles will give students the opportunity to play and create music. Even though a basic ukulele is a relatively inexpensive instrument, most of my students’ families would not be able to afford this. These instruments will bring musical concepts to life, and will spark imagination and creativity for so many students! (One of My favorite parts of teaching music is seeing the smile on a studen’t face when they realize they are actually making music!!) Also, students learn to play music together and work as a team. And, they eill also get the opportunity to perform
