The goal of this project is to meet the sensory needs of the children in my 3rd grade classroom. These chairs are designed to help students burn off energy while still paying attention in the classroom.In our classroom, we have flexible seating. Students are able to pick the seat that works best for them. Currently, they have a choice of different types of chairs, cushions, little rugs and bean bags. I would love to be able to offer wobble stools to help students focus. Wobble stools will help students to be able to move around while working on assignments. Instead of getting out of their seats to move, they will be able to wobble while they are working. Wobble seats should lessen behavior issues.
