This bookshelf will be used to display books in my classroom for students to easily access. Presently, the books are kept in a cabinet because of lack of storage. Since the books are not on display, they are rarely chosen during free-choice time. My student's love to read and this will help them get excited about reading in our new "reading nook". I will also be able to switch out the books on display depending on our current unit of instruction. You will be helping my students become more excited about reading and encourage them to choose reading as a free-choice activity.
