For this project, I am asking for help in providing our classroom with a new projector that actually works! Our students come from a low socioeconomic community and need as much exposure to modern technology as other students from affluent socioeconomic communities are receiving. With a projector in the classroom, I will be able to provide exposure by incorporating technology in daily lessons and allowing students to become more engaged in learning. A projector will also allow us to cut down on printed materials and offer a more environmentally sound solution. Students who are visual learners will benefit from having a projector, and it will also allow me to take the class on virtual field trips together.
