I have been teaching special needs students for 20 years. This includes resource center and inclusion students in a variety of grades and subjects. My classroom materials are in need of replacing. This includes posters, flash cards, and hands-on manipulatives. Things have been misplaced or broken over the years. I would like to replace items so all students can learn to the best of their ability. This includes visual, hands-on and auditory materials. I would like students to feel comfortable in my classroom to learn and grow. I would like the classroom to be a creative learning environment for students to grow. The students will benefit by learning with differentiated instruction. I will infuse traditional teaching with hands-on learning that are student driven. I want the students to be able to apply the math lessons they have learned to the real world applications.
