We will be collecting recycled paper throughout our schools and will be using this as our paper pulp. Recycled paper plus construction paper is blended in a blender then poured into a basin of water. Students will use recycled paper that has been thrown away and turn it into their own handmade paper with added dried flowers. Students will then use this hand made paper to draw on for later art projects. Students will learn about the value of recycling and how to use materials around them and make them into their own art. When students see that they can reuse materials and turn them into something amazing, they will hopefully continue this process of DIY.
