We currently have 30 laptops that will not hold a charge due to old batteries. Students will be in the middle of an assignment and the computer will shut off without warning. Technology is an important part of science, these batteries will allow the students to complete digital assignments with ease and confidence. These laptops will be used for assistive technology, computer simulations, virtual field trips, and virtual dissections. Being a rural school these working computers will be a valuable connection providing scientific understanding among my students. Students will learn science with the replacement of these batteries as well as develop their technological skills.
