The use of a document camera is especially useful in the classroom to engage students in daily lessons specifically in the area of English/Language Arts and Mathematics. I will not only be able to model instruction more effectively but also increase student engagement with the visual learning component. By donating to our project, you will help increase student achievement and engagement while incorporating 21st century technology into a classroom. This document camera would help promote greater learning in the classroom. In ELA, students would be able to manipulate letters into words and storybooks could be displayed during read aloud while focusing on a particular reading standard. I would be able to model how to solve mathematical equations and students would also be able to show their peers how they solved particular problems.
