The Book & Bean Cafe is a library club activity that invites all high school students in before school for a free coffee-house-type beverage. By welcoming students into the library space without any expectations other than something fun, it ramps up the cool factor of the library, thus making the staff and space less intimidating to students. The ultimate goal is to get high school students into the library so that they will be more apt to choose to frequent the library when they have assignments, have questions, need a book, or need help with the research process. We need an urn, cups, and coffee. You can help make this happen by donating to WELCOME TO THE ICHS LIBRARY'S BOOK & BEAN CAFE!
