The incorporation and consistent use of keyboards will greatly improve student achievement. Speed and accuracy will be influenced. With a lot of pressure to do well on mandated timed state tests, the importance of having fluid typing skills is greatly beneficial. With the use of keyboards, students will acquire the fluid typing skills that will cut down on fatigue and health issues associated with improper posture. The students can focus more on their thoughts and knowledge, rather than the location of the letters. With a class set of keyboards, students will get the practice and consistency of preparing for, not only state testing, but future jobs as adults.

About my class
