As a special area teacher teaching k-8th grade students, I find it very difficult to accommodate my students with library tables and chairs. I teach STEM, Robotics, Coding, Computer Literacy and Digital Citizenship. All of my activities require movement and collaboration between students. Students learn best when they have some control over their environment and flexible seating will allow students to choose where they work and with whom. It also stimulates students sense of touch which can help children focus and process information better. My students and I would greatly appreciate any donations that we can get to make our learning more fun and engaging! Thank you.
