The equipment I am requesting will give every student an opportunity to become their own personal athlete. Being able to have different types of physical education equipment, will allow me as a coach to demonstrate the basic fundamentals. For example, in Basketball I can demonstrate how to dribble and shoot. For football how to throw a football and run routes. And in soccer how to shoot at the goal and dribble the soccer ball in different directions. The availability of different physical education equipment will allow for the students to develop a passion for different sports and be aware of the rules and skills needed for each sport. With the donation of the physical education equipment, I will be able to make lessons that will incorporate creativity and an urge to live a healthier lifestyle. I believe all students deserve to have equipment to play basketball, soccer and football and become their own athlete.
