With these manipulatives from Lakeshore I can expand my learning centers for my Pre-K students. I can have centers that enhance their fine motor skills, which is important developmentally for this age group. I believe the selected resources will create fun, motivating and essential centers for our classroom. They can explore and practice skills that will help them succeed in future classes. I can also add to my math and alphabet recognition centers with these resources. This can reinforce our weekly focus concepts that we learn and discuss during whole group instruction. Students can learn about a letter or number, then work with the newly learned concept in a center that week making them more familiar with the concept.
