These books I have requested can be used for both distance learning as well as in the classroom. I can read them to the studets via webcam for fun, but they can also be used to inspire and link to activities such as sequencing a story, comprehension questions, art and more. The outcome would be that children would have greater listening and concentration, an interest in books and be therefore more encouraged to learn to read when entering kindergarten. I have chosen a range of different themes that can be read depending on the time of year or the focus topic not only to keep their interest but to expose them to a range of texts.
